Pinehurst, Lostwithiel Road, Bodmin

Description of the works

Named after the property which once occupied part of the site.  The Pinehurst development was built on a long narrow strip of land sandwiched between a main road and a cutting for the Bodmin & Wenford steam railway.

The scheme provides seventeen affordable dwellings close to the centre of Bodmin.  There are six two bedroom flats and a mixture of two, three and four bedroom houses for rent and shared equity.  One house is provided as a full disabled unit with a through-floor lift and variable height kitchen fittings.

Closely supported by Cornwall Council who provided the land and substantial capital contribution to the build costs.
