Anyone who has construction work carried out for them has Health & Safety obligations under the new CDM Regulations 2015. The main duty for Clients is to make sure their project is suitably managed, ensuring the Health and Safety of all who might be affected by the work, including members of the public. The Regulations identify key duty holders under these Regulations: Client, Designer, Principal Designer, Principal Contractor, Contractors and Worker.
Gates Consultants offer Principal Designer and Client support services in respect of these Regulations. We will consider all projects, regardless of size and have worked in the capacity of Principal Designer on housing, commercial, retail, leisure and heritage projects. We ensure that any prospective Client understands their own obligations under the CDM Regulations 2015 and are always pleased to discuss any project and general CDM/construction Health & Safety matters in advance of being appointed.
