Beechfield Close, Fremington

As part of it’s planned maintenance programme to meet targets set by the Government led Decent Homes Standards, North Devon Homes employed Gates Partnership to provide full Employer’s Agent and CDM Co-ordinator services. The project was delivered under the Partnership South West Strategic Framework, with particular emphasis on partnering between Client, Consultants and Contractor.

The works comprised the demolition of 16nr flats, together with associated outbuildings and the design, construction and completion of 10nr dwellings, together with all associated external works, adopted roads, footpaths, parking areas, drainage, general external works, services and landscaping.

The project was delivered early and on budget. It obtained  Level 3 certification under the code for sustainable homes scheme and approval from the local Police Architectural Liaison Officer under the Secured by Design Scheme. The development has been well received by the local community, providing much needed family houses.
