📣 South Hayling Court on Hayling Island is shortly to complete! Gates Safety Management Ltd were Principal Designer for Housing 21 development of 39 private sale apartments, for retirement living. The circa 6.5 million pound development incudes a communal space, gardens areas and a new sub-station.

It was built on the site of a former retail building and parking area on a very restricted site with significant demolition of the former retail buildings as part of the overall development – see the before and after photographs 📸

Work on site at Almners Road in Lyne, Surrey progressing well. Gates are acting as Principal Designer for the project which is the design & build of 60 houses, including some very significant drainage infrastructure!

The project is on a brownfield site, which used to be a garden centre – see pre-demolition photos.

Work is progressing well, with the drainage infrastructure almost complete, see Civils photo and the aerial photos of the site.

This year’s British Fireworks Championships was another spectacular success! 🥳

From our office at Queen Anne’s Battery, we were treated to a stunning view of the dazzling displays. Surrounded by friends, family, colleagues, and clients, the evening was filled with awe and excitement as the sky lit up with vibrant colours and intricate patterns. The atmosphere was electric, and the camaraderie among everyone present made the experience even more memorable.

It is a pleasure to continue our working relationship for Spaghetti Bridge Ltd, taking on a multidisciplinary appointment as Project Managers, Quantity Surveyor, Contractor Administrator, Principal Designer and Clerk of Works.

Spaghetti Bridge are a specialist educational provider for Children with Social, Emotional and Wellbeing needs.

We have been working with them on their ambitious expansion project over the past 3 years, and Chilton Bridge was the first of 4 projects we have delivered for them over this time, with schools in Plymouth, Paignton and Yelverton already open and operating.

Phase 2 at Chilton Bridge is well underway which involves significant refurbishment of the external envelope of the main house, a grade II listed building. It is always a pleasure to work on these types of projects, old buildings present unforeseen challenges to overcome during the build, but the workmanship involved and end result bring great job satisfaction.

We have recently completed major extension & alteration works on a private residential property in the depths of Cornwall, & wanted to share the amazing slate roofing works by Lizard Roofing – bear in mind that there was only one eyebrow roof window when they started! Credit also to Marraum & Trelowarren Estate (Principal Contractor) – tricky scheme & difficult to get materials (or anything) to site!
